Office of the Church Workers Ministry

This office is responsible for engaging lay people to enter into full-time ministry, developing ministerial students and church workers, and improving the welfare of church workers.

In coordination with the Ministerial Formation Centers, Theological Education Board, and the United Church Workers Organization, it undertakes various programs geared toward achieving these goals. Among some of its programs are field education, summer internships, and the annual ordination review of church workers.

It is also responsible for keeping the record of retired church workers updated and for facilitating assistance to current workers on hospitalization, retirement, and mortuary services.
